So is it a brand new ECM? Or I would say a rebuilt ECM from Orio since brand new ones are not available anymore.
When buying from Orio, they set up the proper software (SPS) before shipping based on VIN and the only thing you need to do is to Add the ECM to car.
If used ECM, then it goes back to if you got one from an exact same car and not just relied on the part number on the back.
The same part number is used both for B207L engines and B207R but the software package is different inside and can create knock sensor codes and STFT/LTFT issues.
Most of the time when I try to do a SPS changing the software on a used ECM it ends up bricked. Only a few times have I been able to push a new software through after repeated attempts switching between TIS2000 and Globaltis several times to make it happen.
