Found a screw in my performance summer tires (P Zero Nero, a new set, but same as OEM on Turbo-X) and two tire shops said it was too close to the "corner" to repair. I ordered a replacement from Tire Rack, shaved to comparable diameter, to be nice to that complicated drive train, except it's out of stock and won't be delivered until July. Frustrated, I unscrewed the offending screw, and it turns out it was only 1/4" long. It wouldn't have even penetrated the tread anywhere close to the core. There was also a cut in the sidewall, also not penetrating. Can I just run this until the replacement arrives? Seems better than running snows until July.
