Luckily, the V6 engine seems to be pretty sturdy but the few things to replace are indeed twice, or more, trouble to do than the 4-cyl (except water pump which is the opposite).
I have YET, to replace any valve cover gaskets on the V6. But thermostat is a beast, oil pressure sensor is tricky, cooling hoses so and so depending on which one, belt tensioner stupid and some plastic pipes in the back that cracks.
Why I wouldn't own a V6 would be of the lower ground clearance of the Aero (spoiler), less fit of the seats for a big guy and poor gas mileage.
