I do believe that Wasyl is "the man" as far as Saab radio / amp repairs. Possibly the only guy out there testing OEM boards, waterproofing them, and then assembling into workable components. I ended up using Goldwing since their amps are tested and have a one year warranty. My original 2003 AMP1 would have still been working if I had not incorrectly jumped my car one time. Car was garaged from 2003 to 2015 and after that sits in my driveway with the door rarely being opened to allow moisture to enter. With Goldwing their price was higher than the Saabradio refurbishment but I don't have to send my original to Goldwing. Wasyl said he had enough components there to assemble a AMP1 to ship to me first since I wasn't going to be able to remove mine until the weekend. Then he flinched a bit and said the price with him shipping beforehand was $290 instead of the advertised $230, plus a $100 core charge. Ok I get that and I would be receiving the core charge back. But there was no reason for him to add $60 onto his advertised price. If the situation arises again I would certainly consider using his services.
