Thank you, Bernie, that must be it. I didn't have a chance to change the connection today, but I see the same solution on other forum too.

It's funny Hedin call it “a common mistake.” It's a mistake in their own manual! — it says (with an emphasis in bold lettering):

• Make sure you connected the blue and blue/white wires together (This is the amp turn on, if you have no sound check this wire.)

By the way, their support responded via email too, telling me to make sure that blue and blue/white are connected... :)) These guys must have a peculiar sense of humor.

For $600+ they should have included a ready plug'n'play harness for Saab. Or at least a better done manual...
