Hello,,
The earlier 9-3's are a 4 speed transmission and use DEX III. The 9-3 ss with the 5 speed use the 3309 fluid as Jimmy states. The 2 fluids are different. The 9-3 ss with the 6 speed uses a different mineral based oil. Good Luck, Bernie
