A few years back I was having some front turn signal issues. Constant error messages for failed bulbs and rapid flashing when signaling. It turned out the bulb sockets had gone bad, corrosion on the contacts for the bulbs. I bought new bulb sockets and all has been good. It was an easy repair I recall.
