Thinking about long the term plan for our 2006 9-3 SC. It needs a new front sub-frame. Has anyone replaced theirs? How much was parts and labor?

My Saab mechanic who pointed it out has done several over the years. He typically sources used subframes in decent shape. He quotes about 4 hours labor to swap out.

Our 9-3 has 223k on it. Clutch was done at 170K, several other big jobs like balance chain, guides, tensioner, water pump, fuel pump, ECU, struts and suspension mounts, etc were done in the past 5 or 6 years and car is running quite well. I am thinking about replacing subframe and also radiator and hoses, and going for 275K + with the car.
