Sunroof stopped working

I'm afraid I messed up my sunroof and don't have any idea on how to resolve the problem. It's a 2009 Linear and before it broke, I noticed it didn't want to close and would just rebound to the half open position. I think the problem was the front hinge was detached on the passenger side and wouldn't lower the deflector enough to close. After trying to push down the deflector while holding the close button I was able to get it to stay closed.
I made the mistake of trying to open the rear vent and heard a noise when it tried to go up. The sunroof vent is now up on one side and down on the other. I can push down the up side at the rear but don't want to break anything trying to retract it to fix the hinge.

Has anyone experienced anything like this with their sunroof and solved the problem? Once I get it open can I try to reattach the deflector hinge or do I need a replacement set?
