The fuel gauge is electronically dampened to minimize gauge needle movement. So there is a time delay.
With a tech ll you can read the values in real time. Most people notice this when they fill an empty tank and the gauge still reads empty when they drive away from the gas station - 5 minutes later it reads full.
You will need a tech ll to fix the stability control failure.
