Thanks everyone for the input.

It looks like I have some test driving to do. I'm not a drag racer so the suspension that gives me the best feel through the curves will trump the pure hp numbers any time.

It also looks like the 4sp vs. 5sp AT difference is not a big differentiator either. So it looks like no one model really stands out as the best option - which is what I figured but I decided to post anyway just in case.

As Ari suggested, I'll probably have to become a pest at one of the used car dealers and take out a number of 9-5's to figure out which one fits my driving personality. It sounds like fun but also a bit of a pain.

I just have to make sure I don't carried away with wanting a new (used) car and rush into a decision. As you can tell, I have a car bug and if I had the financial means, I'd have a different car for every purpose in life.

Oh, with respect to the xenon lamp, can the pre 02's be retrofitted with the xenon headlights or are the dimensions different?
