Bought a 99 9-5 with 81K miles (new turbo, replaced DI, great condition) for $8500. Not under warranty, but so far I've only had to replace the license bulbs and a headlight bulb. That constant ON headlight mode is stupid considering bulb life, so I finally pulled fuse 35 after replacing the headlightbulb.
My only amusing story so far is getting an inspections sticker and having the guy refuse the inspection because of this bulb on the front headlights which wouldn;t come on. Nowhere in the manual are all the lights identified so I needed to come to this board t have someone tell me that this is a front reverse light and sure enuf, they come on every time I put the car in reverse. The manual (99 version at least) could use some reorganization and reality testing.
Great car so far and I am still in honeymoon phase. Wish I could get better than 16-17mpg in the city which is almost all I do (New Orleans). 15mins to work hardly gives the car a chances to warm up properly.
