Gotta watch the A's in the directories, ever notice the transport cos all have names that begin with A? they use the old yellow pages trick, get em in the A's. ( If they are BBB credible, I wouldn't worry too much but really call and get the report, don't just take thier word for it) If they took a credit card it is nice because you get another way to get back at them. You want the terminal to be where you recieve the car if you can. It's kinda tough to rant and rave and cause greif when they can hang up the phone or you need to get on a plane to deal with them. I did not use any one shipper because if you do you are stuck with thier delivery time. Sometimes you need to call around to piggy back with another group of cars at the right time. Also, make sure that they are the shipper and not a middleman, sometimes the paper/website is not worth the ink/electrons that is written.
BTW brush with greatness, my TR was transported with the Austin Healey my Resto guy did for Harrision Ford ( his wife gave it to him for his 50th birthday). Sent hsi to his Montana ranch and it was in people. Talked with him about the cars at the shop and didn't know who it was till my wife came in and nearly fainted ( she bought mine for my 40 th ) The girls talked about shopping in Greenwich, we talked about cars (and never asked for an autograph)
