Per the NHTSA oopening statement, they have had a couple or three dozen reports of failed DICs causing stalling at speed. I've seen more that that on the TSN BBs - and I'd guess there are plenty of readers who've had failures but not posted. Everyone who has experience a DIC failure should add their experience to the complaint. Once the scope of the problem is understood, I predict the part will be recalled, with a refund in the offing for all who have paid out of pocket for replacements.
