Driving a 2001 9-5 2.3lpt sedan.. and have started experiencing problems with the climate control...
1) Hot air constantly coming out of the rear vent on the center console regardless of the temp settings...
2) same for both front dash vents on the passenger side
3) I also notice that when trying to cool, that the auto fan speed is always running at near top speed.. I would guess this is due to the fact that some type of sensor exist on the passenger side and it's sensing the hot air .. so it keeps trying to run at a high speed cooling down the driver side ?
1) I tried resetting the systems via the AUTO and DOWN ARROW.. no luck
2) I then ran the diagnostic check "AUTO and OFF" .. and it shows 1 occurrance of a code 11....
Does anyone know what the code 11 indicates? I can't find it described anywhere ?
It seems like the flap or whatever controls the flap on the passenger side is stuck/broke.. and that the rear center console vents must be linked to that same flow...
Ideas/suggestions ?
