Thanks for all your suggestions on wheels. I just ordered a set of 17 x 7 three-spoked EVO wheels for my 01 SE wagon and can't wait. I asked the dealer what size tire to get and he said 225/45wr17s will require a tech adjustment on the speedmeter ($45 fee) or I could probably go with a 215/50wr17. The tire sizes come in around 25.0 for the 225/45, 25.2 for OEM 16" and 25.4 for the 215/50.
I've been ready reviews online and I'm learning towards a Kumho ASX. It seems to be a good performer and is quieter than the Pirelli's. I don't want to make the ride too harsh and am not an extreme driver either (I just wanted something cooler than the stock 16s). Do you think I should get the 50 series or stick to the smaller 45s? I'm thinking the 50s will be closer to the current feel. Thanks for your help.
