I found the article (I knew I read something very similar: case #3):

they had very similar symptoms, checked everything and found the oil pump housing to be bad. The housing is different from the timing cover so if the dealer just replaced the timing cover, they potentially reused the old housing.
Maybe they already replaced that but it is worth a try.
Saab is on it's third revision of the oil pump housing / cover so there is something fishy. You could check the EPC to see whether your oil pump housing is the old or the new design. It's a $50 (or so) part.
