The sludged oil might get a bit thinner.
If that doesn't do enough you could try cooling down the valve itself with freeze spray after warming up the surrounding metal a bit more.
Could your oil pressure problem be caused just by this?
Valve stuck semi-closed,opening small enough when oil is still thick when cold but too large for decent oil pressure when oil warm and thin?
