Not much to update, but here is the latest....
The service manager said he replaced the rear shocks not the springs. He also is out of solutions. I asked about a "level 2" tech and he said they've never had to call one, but he can't spend much more time on the car (I'm on day 4). The vibration is in your seat therefore he said it is in the rear of the car. Per this thread I suggested to service manager to look at the rotors, bearings and axle. He said the bearings are quiet therefore fine and the axle is fine (personally at $80/hr tech time if it were me, I'd start replacing things if it can be covered). I'm hoping he'll try to replace the rotors, but think he may be giving up.
Additionally the hood has been replainted so the manager is questioning if it was previously in a wreck. However, CarFax and SaabUSA show the VIN as clean. SaabUSA said no work has been done on the car which would indicate an accident and EVERYTHING is reported now. They aren't buying that suggestion. The previous owner, who was the 2nd owner, (now in Europe) was a very picky VP. My guess is he didn't like rock dings and could afford to spot paint the car. If the car was in a wreck there would be signs of replaced parts or stressed areas.
On a good note, the new Saab badge and wheel well liner look really good!
Any suggestions, PLEASE help. I'm driving the car on a cross-country road trip 7 days!! Thanks
