It would be hard to describe in a short message, but I'll try.
Many of the exercises we did applied to every day driving, which made it all the better.
There were several road tests that we performed.
One was devoted to the ABS and how short the car can stop. The point I learned from that exercise is that you can not press down too hard on the brake. Just slam it down and you will stop very quickly.
We went through several autocross courses. One was wet and it was very impressive to go around with the ESP (stability control) on and see how the Aero would cut off fuel to keep you from losing control.
On both the dry and wet autocross the brakes & handling were most impressive. As long as you brake hard while the car is pointed straight, you'll be able to make every corner by easing off the brake while you start the corner. At first it was nerve racking to be going 40mph, jam on the brakes and then make a 90 degree curve, but by the end of the two days, it was exhilarating.
To cap it all off, you get to push your car to the limits, but it's not your car! And you're in no danger pushing the limits at the track instead of trying it on the road.
If you are on the fence for an Arc or Aero, get the Aero and do this class.
