Maybe I wasn't clear. When I first cranked the engine, it started normally, but while it was idling, it was making screaching metal grinding noise. So what did I do? I turned off the idling engine. My heart was pumping but I had to go somewhere that day. So I cranked the engine once again just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. The second time I cranked the engine, while it was cranking, it was making a foreign metal sound again and the engine did not turn over.

I purchased the car used at this same dealer, don't know whether they have the history for the first 56K miles but I have my history. So like I said, my gut feeling is that Saab may not cover this under warranty by giving me all the possible reasons why this happened and I think once again, I will be the victim/fall guy. If I have to fork out another 5 grand to fix it, I think I'll hang myself for buying this _____.
