look carefully to see if torx or hex, and get the right size
drive bits in with a hammer to get fully seated
stripped heads can be closed in with a ball peen hammer then the bit forceably driven in to reshape the cavity - might not be pissible if badly damaged
torx or hex keys twist with torque and the twist makes it want to 'cam-out', so bits seem to be better when things get tough
these screws should only be tighened lightly and with lots of neversieze, these screws serve no function once the wheel bolts are in, so no mechanical need to be tight
the screws are soft steel and thus easy to drill out, stub is then easy to remove
