02' Linear Sdn Hwy 1 hr = 34mpg, w/ cruise set at 83mph

I find my mpg can easily exceed the 30 mpg mark if I use cruise to steady the boost, have at least 33 psi in tires, get my oil changed every 5k miles. Probably the Linear sedan gets better gas mileage than the Aero. I am driving a steady one hour drive from our weekend place near Rockford back to Chicago. The braking is very light for the first hour, heavy the last 30 minutes back into town. The first hour I get 33 to 35 mpg consistently at 83 mph. If I put it into sport mode and do not use cruise the mpg is 31. Even at a consistent 90 mph though I am getting 28 to 29. (I actually log these things!) I'm still trying to decide if having the AC on has any real effect on mpg. We usually just turn it off if we're already comfortable, so that might have some positive effect as well. Why not see if your mpg is noticeably increased after changing your oil?
