Regarding Several topics that I've seen posted recently:

2001 Aero, 50+K and lost water pump. I heard the noise and responded promptly. No major Issues. 3rd Party insurer "Ultimate Insurance" paid most but not quite matched the rate of the Indie. Indie found a transmission mount broken. Ultimate paid 100%. Indie suggested Belt and pulleys - my dime with some saving because access was available.

Total bill about $1,380 parts and labor. My share, $630.00 w/tax. Funny thing, I pay the tax on the charges covered by the insurance, yuck.

The steering wheel vibration is much less noticeable. very Pleased with Indie (ScanWest, Seattle). Not please with Taxes. Pleased with Ultimate Insurance, paid of half of itself today - 75K more miles left on warranty. Glad to have my Aero home (Rental car - 2.4L Sebring)
