I am living in the Chicago area and I put them on my 2001 Aero last year. The tires performed well on light snow. My car stucked because of the low clearance of Aero, not the tires.
I used them for less than a year and I won't recommend them because:
1. I had DiscountTires balanced and roadforced the tires multiple times to elminate vibration (strange vibration - it happened only between 65mph-80mph).
2. The tires were a little bit noise in the beginning but the noise level was acceptable at that time. However, it is getting louder and louder (esp. when the speed went up) since the beginning of this summer. DiscountTires told me either the tires or the wheels were too heavy at 1 point (I couldn't quiet understand). They replaced 1 tire and balanced + roadforced on all tires but I can still hear the loud noise from the tires.
3. The maximum load ratings are 91 instead of 94. The warning said "Do not excess 40 psi". You may not be able to carry 4-5 people in your car or go beyond 100mph because Saab recommended 43 psi for those situations.
4. They are direction tires. You have to do tire rotation in 1 way.
I think I may switch to Kuhmo ASX.
