2002 Aero - good choice?

Hi all,
I know that cars are a personal, emotional decision for most of us. I have been lusting after a 9000/9-5 Aero for the better part of 10 years. I've come close to pulling the trigger on a number of occasions after driving them, but always found an excuse not to. Consequently, I've been pretty disappointed with the "compromise" cars I ended up with.
I have a line on a 2002 9-5 Aero, 5spd, 38000 miles, Saab certified to 2008. Interest rate is great, deal is good, I have to travel a bit to get it, but right now I'm scheduled to pick it up on Saturday. I'm excited, but the cautious/practical side of me is tugging at me saying "buy a Honda man...".
Note: I am not a slave to practicality; I ride a Yamaha sportbike with no regrets. Yeah, I'm too old for that kind of crap, but its fun :-) This is the first CAR I've considered purchasing that was slightly out of mainstream. Its alwasy been Honda/Toyota/Nissan and they always end up leaving me cold. I really have a craving for something fast, comfortable, and fun, but large enough to haul my family around.
I guess in the end I'm just looking for reassurance, and this is probably the last place to go to be talked out of buying a Saab, but are there any caveats/warnings or just good old fashioned words of encouragement out there ???
Thanks in advance. Looking forward to being a member of the community here !!!
