I've owned almost nothing but SAABs for 20 years and they are quirky, but they are still unique, though getting less so. I commute 70 miles round trip per day on a major Hwy (CA 101 from SF to Silicon Valley). I rarely see another 9-5 and its even more rare to see an Aero (mine's an '02 5-sp) but I see a seemingly endless stream of G35s, 5-series bimmers and a plethora of other cars and they all are getting to look more and more alike. The subtle but distinctive lines of the 9-5 are always satisfying and while the others get tired with time the 9-5's continue to grow on me. When you put your foot in it in 3rd gear at 2500 rpm, there are few cars which can keep up and as you get pressed back in the sports seats and see the turbo gauge touch the red, the quirks just sort of ad to the appeal.
