I used to own a 1999 9-3SE convertible with MP Performance mods and went to a 2000 9-5 Aero wagon with the BBS rims. I really like my wagon much better. Faster, better gas mileage and much more room for hauling and people. I have an uncle who owns the sedan and even he feels my wagon handles better than his sedan. Since you are a college student, does it really matter from your friends perspective if you have a sedan or wagon. Just knowing you have a vehicle is enought for them. You will be popular no matter which you choose. From a speed perspective, the wagon is a sleeper vehicle, people will not know the speed potential you have.
