Aye,
Thats the max load? Really? In the summer I picked up three campers (150lbsX2+100lbs) plus a T R U N K full of cra...err...stuff. It was so full that it wouldn't close. Beds, flight size bags, heavy chairs, etc...
the car sagged visibly but the 85mph cruise home was uneventful...
I did not know that GVWR less passangers was that close to a "real life" load, as in five passangers. Who knew? I figured putting six people plus luggage would be pushing it but five two hundred pounders?

Steve,
My eBay contact is no longer a registered eBay user. I don't know if he switched aliases but I'm not sure I would feel comfortable recommending him in light of these events. That said, my transaction was flawless and the car appears to be perfect (new SID two months after and drivers seat is loose on rail) still...I don't know. Someone else here just purchased a car via eBay maybe they can chime in with the name of their wholesaler.

It is my understanding that these guys work as independent contractors for a "Sunrise Motors" in Philadelphia. They sell the cars through that outfit but they are just busy eastern european wholesalers. I can no longer contact said person because the auction disappeared from my ebay page after a while. There are quite a few out there, Sonique did you get your land rocket via this route?
Regards,
Tom
