9-5 Aero vs 540i?

At low altitude the 540i is a bit faster then a
5spd Aero. This stays this way until you exceed
around 3500 feet of altitude. Then it first gets
even and around 6500 feet the Aero pulls away.
The 540i burns about 20 to 30% more fuel then the
Aero, so I guess it should be faster ;)
