I have only owned my Saab 9-5 for five months (2004 CPO Aero wagon w/ 2000 miles) and have had quite a few problems. Here is the list:
-Fuel gauge problem that turned out to be a fuel tank issue (new fuel tank w/ instalation $800!)
-Airbag light on (requied new sensor)
-Broken driver seat heater (parts have been ordered)
-Blown passenger side speaker (speaker on order)
-Broken center rear seat belt plastic cover (incredibly cheap design)
-Saab badge on the hood needed to be replaced because the sticker got water under it and began to chip off
And this is just the first 4000 miles I have had the car. Thank God it is all under warrenty until 2010! Please don't get me wrong, I love driving this car. The torque is amazing, it handles like a dream, the seats are the best I have ever sat in, and the styling is second to none as far as wagons go, but after all this I might think twice about buying one that has no warranty or is about to go off warranty.
