after i did the 50 rpm upping i have not notices any abrupt shifting.
but, i have noticed ,just drove doen from vt. to fla. that when stopping from hi speeds ( 80 to 100 ) on the road , i needed to apply extra pressure on the brake pedal. may be in my mind ? or i am used to mb ohter cars.
