I got it although that wasn't clear in the beginning. My point is I don't think there is any engineering basis for such an interval. Even if there is, a "good" engine would not be so sensitive. Either Saab messed up and should cover the sludged engines unless the person never changed the oil or put dyno in every 10K or some other crazy thing.
