I have a 2000 9-5 wagon, Gary Fisher edition, with roughly 70M miles of mainly highway driving. The shocks are original equipment. My query has to do with the tautness of the suspension package. The car feels a bit "loose", seems to move about quite a bit when you hit bumps, sways a bit in turns, etc. Checked with my ace independent Saab mechanic who assures me the shocks are still good and that this set up and movement is quite normal for the car. If I want "tauter" handling and less sway what are my options? I am not looking to turn the vehicle into a race car (the 3 yr. old in the car seat in back already gives me grief on the highway about going too fast)but wonder if anyone out there has a compromise between thefactory seetings for handling and ride and some flat out street rod?
