If you ask me, I would do the last PCV fix and restore the car back to almost factory spec.
I suspect that the amount of air that is drawn up the oil filler pipe and into the throttle body might create some kind of venturi effect, creating more oil foam than needed due to hot/cold areas inside tube.
If you pull the dipstick while idling, you'll hear the hissing from the nipple inserted into the oil tube.
Did you do that PCV mod to cure some problems you had earlier?
