eEuro can't buy an official "Saab" filter and sell it for $10.00

Without a doubt they can buy a "Bosch" filter and sell it for a lot less than a "Saab" filter.

People need to understand what the box a part is placed in do to the price and the name and partnumber printed on the part.

The suggested retail price for the "Saab" fuel filter is $46.00

GM and Saab sets the suggested retail price as they also set the price that the dealer is paying for the part when they buy it for their dealership.
After that, the dealer can raise the suggested retail price to cover their expenses on running the show with a certain percent or they can sell it for lower than retail but what they paid for the part is already set by GM and Saab.

I don't know how much leeway a dealership have in going out on the open market and buy "aftermarket" parts to sell to their customers or install on a car for a lower price then retail but I think they are pretty strapped and has to follow strict guidelines since they need to give factory warranty.

Can you imaging how easy it would be for a car manufacturer to deny a warranty claim if it says something else on a broken part than the car makers namn and then give the dealership hell for installing non Genuine OEM parts.

In these discussions we need to go back to the apple and apple comparison so that we don't compare apple and oranges, even though with some parts, the apple and orange is very close to each other in shape, size and form, but they are still not the same.
