That is the sweetest part of buying a saab. Heh Used. You can buy a 40k car for 6k that is maybe 6 years old. Look at a used 4runner. Lower 30s new and will sell for 14. So true saabs cost a bit more to work on, but drive great and are not to bad if you do some of the work yourself. Buy the way what did you spend 2k on? New engine? Tires, brakes, oil changes, and those types of things do not count. So unless you have a lemon you should not have had to spend that much.
Ah the other nice thing about saabs is that they are easy to work on. No harder then most other cars. Get a manual from stateofnine and you should be able to get through most any repair other than things you need special tools for like ac and computer controls where you need a tech2 but that goes for other cars too.
