You can visit their website for all the process details (they have a FAQ that explains pretty much everything), but yes, they work from behind the panel to push the dents out, then work on the outside of the panel to level down what they first push out. At the local place, it can look kind of brutal (they heat the panel with a blowtorch, and there was much hammer-and-pointed-chisel type stuff going on), but, they let you stand right there and watch, which I always approeciate, and after they are done it was absolutlety level, no dents anymore, scratch free (assuming no scratches in the dent area in the first place), and, well, perfect.
