I continue to be impressed with the legibility of 2002-2005 9-5 guages. 0-85mph is over 180 degrees with the higher speeds appropriately squished in to the last 90 degrees as the speedometer goes over 270 degrees total. The 9-3SS also has big legible guages with the squish, no so the 2006 9-5, not bad though. SID in the speedo, SID in the dash, neither one the SID in the binnicale like a 9-3SS, which is history for 2007 too, you could argue either way.

ACC controls are much more intuitive, don't require familiarization. Radio is just flat a peach with XM, AM and FM presets on the same line, in dash CD changer, aux in, killer. Same as the knew ACC knobs, intuitive, volume is the knob, tune is the smaller knob, sound is still HK.

Gas cap still locks, locked when doors locked, no seperate button to forget, big improvement once you understand it does indeed lock.

Gray plastic, darker gray plastic, black pebble grain plastic, yea...rougher, just different more than anything. New interior is finally black everywhere, spectaular looking with the new metal finish dash and black vented seats without the contrast stripes and stitching, though they missed the console trim piece.

Glad you like the looks. I think the traditional 99-2005 9-5s will hold up well, I love mine.
