I have a 1999 9-5 4cyl with 95k on it now. My DI died at appox 60K (2003). I am wondering how long do you guys think my second ID will last. Since I have moved to Atlanta, I get worried some times in traffic that I might get stranded. I plan to keep the car may be another year. I am sorry to say this might be my last SAAB after a long love affair (1987 900, 1989 900s 2 dr). I just don't think they are as reliable any more as they use to be. Do any other car makes also have a DI which is known to die with out any warning...BMW?Benz?Audi?
Thanks
