Yeah I think you might be right about the front seats. I notice that the heat comes on in waves. It will be really nice and toasty and then it cools off and in another 2 or 3 minutes they get warm again. My mom's car has front seat warmers too and they're always on if they're in the ON position. My uncle's Audi A6's rear seat warmers stay on all the time even. Their heat elements don't burn out, so why can't Saab make them stay on all the time? Oh well... sorry for the rant.
