Hi all,
I have an '02 9-5 Aero with a manual transmission. This problem started with 2nd gear poping out at certain speeds. After a while it moved to not being able to shift into 2nd unless I was going faster than 20mph. Not too long after that (maybe a week), I now can't shift into 2nd gear at all. All I get is grinding sounds.
According to Saab Servies (who's awesome by the way) in Fort Laud it looks like I need to rebuild the transmission and I'm looking at something around $2,000.
I read in other posts that some folks were having a similar problem where the linkages needed to be adjusted? Anyone seen this before? All the other gears are fine except 2nd.
Driving from 1st to third has been fun :)
