Don't forget the dealer should do the timing belt for free under warranty at 60K. You will have to pay for the tensioner assembly and pulleys. I will warn that here in Maine, it was cheaper to pay my favorite Indy wrench to change the belt and tenshioner using my parts from eeuroparts than to pay what the dealer wanted extra for the tensioner and pulleys and extra labor.
As to doing it yourself, if you screw it up, you get to buy an engine. I'm a pretty intrepid wrench, and in fact the week before I was all the way in there to change the waterpump on my car, but I decided to pay the $200 to have my Indy turn the wrenches. Cheap piece of mind.
In a pinch, I don't see why a Saturn or Cadillac dealer couldn't change the timing belt, same engine sans turbo was used in the Saturn LS and Cadilac Catera.
