This is a situation where reading the instructions helps. Loctite 5910 is an RTV silicone typically used in automotive applications due to its resistance to engine oils. No RTV silicone I know of will dissolve thermoplastics; certainly not this one. And I've siliconed a lot of plastics together.
The above poster probably thought that the instructions suggested using a Loctite thread-locker, and although some thread-lockers will attack some plastics (especially polycarbonate), one should be much more worried about causing stress cracks than dissolving the plastic.
