best i can tell i may have had low gas. warning light just came on 30 sec before (but I"ve driven 50 miles before after it coming on).
DI cassettes on V6 less then 2 years old on 80K mile 1999 wagon.
car died at 35mph, first tcs, then engine light, then everything came on...about then I noticed no power. was able to coast into a parking lot. start car and drive to gas station. I know the fuel computer and dummy light are not 100% but very odd this happened within a minute of the light coming on...but it is 10 degrees in ohio.
anyways upon restarting and driving home 30 minutes (with no problems) the engine light (obviously need to pull codes) was on, as well as the TCS and then I noted the cruise would not work.
Are these related an interconeected to disengage when there is a engine code?
can autozone pull codes and reset?
any other way to reset TCS/cruise?
what is the best/cheapest way to get an tech2 type reader/reset? I know for Porsche I was able to buy $200 laptop software that does 80% of everything their PST2 does. How about the tech2 world/
