My point about gadgets is that when you are going to charge the same or more as the competition, you need to compete. Saab is not best in class in ride, handling or build quality. The new VW cars easily match and exceed the 9-5, while costing less and offering more features, for example. Even Chysler 300 is a better car (basically a last gen E-class).

The Saab 9-5 is a good, not great, car. There are a lot of other choices in the same price backet. Sometimes the 9-5 is better, sometimes not. I like the way the 9-5 drives (even if unrefined, which it is).

If I see one at a good price (less than 20K), I will strongly consider it. However, about that, the competition starts getting much stiffer.

To be honest, if I was normal height and drove an automatic, I would have a difficult time selecting a Saab.
