Extra service is extra $$ plain and simple.
Having said that, also realize that the marketing machine that suggested a 15k oil change interval wrote the service schedule.
Forget the fuel injector cleaner service, you can do that for $7.
But Coolant should be changed every few years, (lifetime = 5yrs MAX) and brake fluid should be flushed every 2-3 years, tranny fluid should also be changed.
So some of your dealers motivation maybe greed, some may be practical.
Of course for those turning the car in from lease or only owning the first 4-5 years nothing really NEEDS to be done. It's the next few years when when cooling system, transmission, and brakes fail, when the realization hits 'shoulda'.
