As opposed to the 02-03 Arcs with standard V6, standard premium package, and standard vented seats, the 04 Arcs had only the 220hp near Aero four and the premium package with memeory drivers seat, Harmon Kardon sound, auto dimming/homelink inside mirror, was optional. The Aeros all have the premium package with the truly outstanding H/K sound.

Aeros and their sport suspension with 17" wheels aren't particularly rougher riding or substantially worse on potholes. The vented seats hold up well and the Aero seats are incomparable. Many folks select the Aero just for the seats and don't complain about the ride one bit. IIRC many of the '04 Arcs still had the Aero brakes, at least in front, anyway the price difference is minimal. 17" tires are a skosh more espensive, but don't always have to wear out faster, depends more on the driver and the tire.

Only you can decide if the extra 30hp is worth it, though the fuel economy will be the same with either, which was why the lower output four was deleted in '06. Another note is that the 16" rims were discontinued in '06, but the 17's went up one size, 225 to 235 for better pothole protection.
