The 03 Aero wagon is a monster car, mine beat a corvette from a stop light. But that story can be for a later date. I am sorry that for some reason yours are not unleashed. And I do not know what the problem is either.
However, here are somethings that I have done, you may take a tip or two and if they work, great: (I generally dont give away my secrets...simply because I dont want to engage into arguments with people, I stick with what works and there are some nuts in this forum who like to dispute everything)
1. Spark plugs, gapped properly and installed properly with dielectric etc. Also hope your DI is a good one...altho '03 was not affected by the recall. I changed mine on the '03 too with the new DI!
2. Synthetic oil, I use Royal purple 5w-30, and Pureone filter.
3. Bigger air intake pipe with front modified for lots of air.
4. Drain and fill transmission oil every 15k - 20k with Mobil 3309 (mine is automatic).
5. Redline water wetter with coolant as per instructions only....actually I run 40-60 with water wetter for better cooling and torque response, read water wetter literature.
6. 1 oz. Enviromax every gas fill up (about 13 -14 gal). Works out great.
7. Tires properly inflated!
I cant think of more, anyways hope it works out for you, again...it is a monster car, sedan is hair monsterer!
