...as you are confusing true European car tuning with "ricing" up a vehicle, of which the latter has no purpose for a SAAB. SAABs carry more distinction than that, and should be tuned or upgraded with that in mind. The tuning market for SAABs in the states is very small, but in Europe those guys are doing it right! I visit another UK-based BB daily that has a specific performance section for 9-5's and it really is a great forum. There's a good mix of guys from the U.S. and Europe, but we are all performance-oriented, not like the "old fogeys" as Drew put it here. You kind find a plethora of upgrading info for your 9-5 there and as a testament here's my current upgrades:
35mm lower H&R springs | Koni adjustable dampers | SBMC | K&N cold air intake | poly trans mount | Viggen (f) & Taliaferro slotted (r) rotors | Akebono Euro pads | Euro (clear) corners | 20% tint | '04 Aero front bumper | front subframe brace | Forge piston diverter valve
AND I've got front and rear big brake kits in my living room waiting to go in. I haven't even really started on the engine yet!! You tell me is this a ricer-mobile or a performance luxury sedan? Cheers.
